Led astray
When ego’s dawn
The mind awakens
The soul is gone
The truth uncertain
The secret told
Your lies are hollow
The tale unfolds
Awake in tears
Your cries of pain
You’re all alone
And want in vain
The eyes that watch
The hand that holds
The heart that knows
The lies unfold
And now you see
Try not to stare
Despite your lies
