Subject: Blogging down the road...
Cellular broadband is a life-saver for those of you with more intense internet addictions. I'm writing this from one right now, actually. In the middle of a two hour road trip from Austin to Houston, I'm on the internet. Not the greatest download speeds available, but I'm able to check email, get on various messaging services, and work on websites. In short, I'm CONNECTED. Now I just need to get a head-mounted display so that I'm not watching the screen shake with periodic road conditions...

Of course, blogging via WiFi from a local cafe is still preferable, unless you've managed to hook up an espresso machine in your car (which doesn't sound like a very bad idea). The only problem is when you decide to go at the same time as... well, everyone else. I'm beginning to think that around noon on Sundays is a very poor choice of when to go, but having returned in the evening, I think I prefer it to being on the road. Wink
